We're in the final stretch, Supporter!
After years of fighting to create an RTA, to create a great transit plan, to get it on the ballot and to build broad public support, the vote is in 2 days!!
Can you volunteer a few hours on election day?
We've identified the top 100 polling places across the region and need a few more volunteers to make sure those voters are ready to Vote Yes for Regional Transit. Can you help out from 7-10am or from 5-8pm on election day? Please sign up today! The campaign will provide you signs, materials and directions; we just need your smiling face!
Oh and everyone who has volunteered for the Vote Yes campaign (on Election Day or previously) is invited to our Election Night Victory Party! Please reply to RSVP and get all the details.
Please continue to spread the word!
Please give a final reminder to your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers, and others you know in the four-county area urging them to Vote Yes for Regional Transit! You can send a personal email and SHARE our posts on your Facebook and Twitter pages, such as this video summarizing who's endorsing regional transit, with a note about why it matters to you.
One more endorsement: James Robertson, The Walking Man
Do you remember the story of the Walking Man, James Robertson, who walked 21 miles every day to work because of the failures of our region's transit?
He urges everyone to Vote YES for Regional Transit so no one else has to go through what he did!
This short documentary shares his story and why transit is so vital. (See minute mark 21:15)
Together we'll ensure a big win for regional transit! Thanks for your ongoing support!!
