Spring is finally here Supporter!

And TRU is seeking interns and volunteers to help get southeast Michigan talking about why #TransitMatters!

This summer, TRU staff, interns, and volunteers will traverse the region talking transit. We'll be at fairs and festivals, before fireworks and concerts, at community meetings, and on social media, in order to:

1) Start people thinking about why transit matters to them, their families, and their communities and

2) Get people involved in the RTA‘s transit planning.

And we need help to succeed in this effort!

We have posted two position descriptions for student interns and/or dedicated volunteers willing to commit at least 20 hours a week:

These can be done for course credit if your college enables it. We provide free bus passes and can offer a stipend to highly qualified individuals.

These are great opportunities to build skills, add substantive experience to your resume, and get actively involved in improving Detroit transit.

Respond ASAP: resumes received by April 13 will receive priority consideration.

Please share this info with anyone you think might be interested!
