As you give thanks and plan your year-end giving Supporter, please give to TRU

Why?

Because transportation is essential to get to work, buy groceries, visit family, go to the doctor, and more.

Because people who cannot drive must rely on public transit for these daily needs.

And because public transit in Detroit fails the needs of thousands in our community who depend on it. Imagine being late to work one-third of the time! This is the reality for tens of thousands of our friends and neighbors throughout the Detroit area who use public transit.

For these reasons Transportation Riders United is dedicated to improving public transit throughout greater Detroit.  TRU works to build public understanding and mobilize public support for a high quality transit system that leaves no one behind.

How can you get ahead if you cannot get around?

Please give to TRU today to give our community and everyone in it real opportunity to thrive and succeed.

For nearly fifteen years, TRU has built public support and ensured that transit has been included in critical public debates, whether in Detroit, Lansing or beyond. We are broadly seen as the transit advocate for greater Detroit, turned to by media and decision makers alike for reliable facts and realistic recommendations.

Help us succeed in our mission.

Donate Today!

With your help we can move this region forward, ensuring all people have reliable access to jobs and giving our region the economic boost it needs.

And thanks!!!

And FYI, our website has been hacked several times and we've lost a good portion of the information that had been posted there. We will be overhauling the website this fall with new information, interactivity, and style. Please forgive it's lack of detail and polish in the meanwhile!

Thanks,
