RTA in the House:  Big Push for Quick Action Before Years End!!

Now that the Senate voted, we need to convince the Michigan House to pass RTA ASAP!

The Senate vote Tuesday, while very exciting, was just half the battle.  Now we've got just two weeks to get the Michigan House to pass it too.  Which means there isn't time for a bunch of amendments, new analysis, or other delays.  If the House fails to act in the next two weeks, we have to start from scratch in January!

So we really need your help!

Please urge your Representative to support these essential bills today!

Please help keep the pressure on.  Urge all your friends, family, neighbors, bus buddies, work colleagues, and others to act too! Thanks!

For even more on the RTA:

  • Watch me, sponsor Senator Johnson, House Chair Opsommer and other leaders discussing the RTA on Spotlight on the News tomorrow morning at 9:30am on Channel 7!

If you want transit, pass me
No matter where you are
No matter how far
Just pass RTA, get it done in a hurry
Come on now and scurry

'Cause baby, there ain't no mountain high enough
Ain't no Senate slow enough
Ain't no House lame-duck enough
To keep us from an RTA, babe
