Greetings Supporter!  Two important RTAs need your help today - the Regional Transit Authority bills are at risk and today is the last day to RSVP for TRU's Regional Transit Awards dinner!!

Old 8 Mile Divisions Threaten the RTA bills, Call Your Senator Today!!

Just when you think our politicians have finally grown up and are ready to work together as a region, the old 8 Mile divisions creep back in and threaten progress on the RTA.  It has appeared for several weeks that the Michigan Senate was poised to pass the RTA with strong bi-partisan support.  Now that support is faultering.

We need to get 300 calls to our Senators in the next 3 days!  Please call or email your Senator today!  Tell them:

"We need better public transit!  I live in your district, I vote, and I need the Senator's support for SB 909 - the Regional Transit Authority. Can I count on the Senator's "yes" vote for SB 909 and 911?"

Then urge your friends, family and colleagues from all across Michigan to do the same!  I've set up an easy tell-a-friend tool you can use.

If you get a firm response, please let me know what they say.
