Senate to Vote Wednesday on the RTA
There's another important RTA moving forward right now. The Michigan Senate will likely be voting on the Regional Transit Authority bills this Wednesday!!
- The RTA will ensure better coordination between SMART, DDOT, and AATA;
- The RTA will develop more frequent, reliable transit along Woodward, Gratiot, and elsewhere;
- The RTA will allow southeast Michigan to invest in more and better transit,
So if you haven't contacted your state Senator or if your Senator is still on the fence . . .
Tell your state Senator to support the RTA!!
Use our easy e-action tool which identifies your Senator with just your name and address, then offers a sample message based on your Senator's past votes, and allows you to send a targeted personal message in just a few clicks.
I'll keep you posted on what happens Wednesday and what's coming next.
