Speak Out for Regional Transit!!
There's another important RTA moving forward in the next few weeks. The Michigan Senate could be voting on the Regional Transit Authority bills as early as next week!! But the outcome of that vote is still very uncertain.
- If you want better coordination between SMART, DDOT, and AATA;
- If you want more frequent, reliable transit along Woodward, Gratiot, and elsewhere;
- If you agree that southeast Michigan needs to invest in more and better transit,
Tell your state Senator to support the RTA!!
This easy e-action tool identifies your Senator with just your name and address, then offers a sample message based on your Senator's past votes, and allows you to send a targeted personal message in just a few clicks.
I'll be in Lansing tomorrow meeting with Senators, and a bunch of emails would really help our efforts! I'll keep you posted on what happens there and what's coming next.
